Dustin Huibregtse, TEDxChicago Director & Speaker Coach

Dustin Huibregtse has been a volunteer TEDx event organizer and speaker coach since 2010; organizing over 16 events impacting 8,000+ attendees and coaching over 120 speakers who have been watched by millions. He became hooked to TEDTalks in 2008 when he watched Hans Rosling’s talk during his first class at business school at the University of Minnesota, inspiring him to start TEDx University of Minnesota in 2011, then TEDxMinneapolis in 2014, and then to take the helm of TEDxChicago in 2022. After 12 years of coaching speakers, he has delved deep into understanding what makes the short TED Talk format so powerful.  His biggest passion is bringing together amazing people with impactful ideas and meaningful work through a process that consistently creates memorable experiences. Dustin hopes to start his own agency over the next year to continue helping more people on their journey.
